Dr Louise Walsh

Primary qualifications: BM MRCGP DRCOG DCH, PGCert Clin. Ed

Dr Walsh completed her medical degree in Southampton in 2000. She worked at hospitals in Winchester, Basingstoke and Jersey, before completing her GP training at a large practice in Basingstoke. She then took time off and went travelling overseas before returning to Hampshire to take up a full time GP post. She  started initially as a locum at Falkland Surgery in 2012, then becoming a permanent member of the team in 2018.   

Dr Walsh has special interests in Education and Health Inequalities having completed a fellowship with the Primary Care School.  She is a Trainer at the practice alongside Dr Lambert, supervising GPs in training.
