Falkland Surgery Wellbeing Week March 18th – 22nd 2019

Next week we’re focusing on Staying Healthy here at Falkland Surgery!

Below is a timetable of events taking place in the week.

Please note that some of the dates and times have changed from those advertised in Newbury Weekly.

Monday 18th

Diabetes UK (Hazel Burgess) 2 – 4pm in the waiting room foyer taking questions from patients about type 2 diabetes and giving out patient information leaflets.

Eat4Health (Veronica Da Silva Carvalho Willoughby) 7 – 8pm in the waiting room will be giving a fun interactive talk on healthy eating and maintaining a healthy weight. A MUST for patients, friends and family struggling to get to a healthy weight and confused by all the advice out there! This talk is FREE and no need to book.

Tuesday 19th

Diabetes UK (Hazel Burgess) 2 – 4pm in the waiting room foyer.

Wednesday 20th

Yoga by Sport in Mind 1.30 – 2.30pm in the Board Room at Falkland Surgery. A small and relaxing group yoga session focused on improving mental wellbeing. Places will be limited to 8. So first come first served!

Take Control of your Stress and Anxiety with Talking Therapies 3 – 4pm in the
Meeting Room at Falkland Surgery. Struggling with anxiety every day? Is it affecting your life? We can help you make positive changes for the better. An interactive session for up to 10 patients in the Meeting Room at Falkland Surgery.

Thursday 21st

Diabetes UK (Hazel Burgess) 2 – 4pm in the waiting room foyer.

If you would like to book a place on Yoga by Sport in Mind or Take Control of your Stress and Anxiety please ask to speak to Lisa Smith via reception and she will put your name down and give you more details about the day. These are FREE sessions for patients.
