We welcome new patients providing they reside in our catchment area. A copy of our Allocations Protocol is displayed in the Patient Information Point (PiP).
You will be required to complete a formal registration form for each member of the family, following which you will be invited to make an appointment with your new GP if you need medication added to your records etc.
We are able to accept your records electronically from your previous practice via a system called GP2GP which is instantaneous, but this requires your previous GP surgery to be similarly enabled. If this is not possible your medical records often take a while (up to 2-3 months) to come from your previous doctor, you will be asked to complete a brief medication questionnaire to ensure we know these details either way.
Please indicate if you are a carer, or if you require any of our patient leaflets, surgery information or letters that we may send to you from time to time in an alternative format such as larger print, in audio or Braille. The surgery has access to a language line interpreting service. You will receive written notification of the GP with whom you are registered.
