Being a purpose built building we have been able to build disabled access into the whole structure of the Surgery. This was recognised in 2004 by an excellent disabilities survey report performed by The Guidedogs for the Blind Association.
Thus we have:
A bus service that is suited for disabled access. This runs on 3 days a week.
All consulting rooms are on the ground floor and are on the level.
The reception desk is constructed with low level access for the wheelchair user.
A separate side room is available for confidential discussions.
Disabled toilets available with full disabled facilities
Signs are high visibility for the visually impaired
An induction loop system is in place for those with hearing difficulties and who use a hearing aid with "loop" facility. Please ask at reception.
A baby change room is available if needed.
The waiting room has a dedicated childrens area
We have a wheelchair for those who need it, please ask a receptionist.
You are able to park in the Rugby Club overflow parking area if needed
Leaflets are available in alternative formats if requested.
