Flu Vaccines 25 9 2009
We are pleased to announce the first batch of flu vaccines has now arrived and we are booking flu clinics immediately. This is for the "normal" seasonal flu which offers NO known protection from "swine flu". We are particularly keen to target those patients with chronic health problems like diabetes heart disease, asthma and COPD.
Swine Flu vaccines will hopefully be available soon but we are currently unaware of delivery dates etc. More details as they are available.
The Falkland Surgery has been a training practice for several years and welcomes FY2, ST1,ST2 , and ST3 placements via the Reading VTS and Oxford Deanery.
We have also had medical students attached to the surgery for 1-2 week placements form both Oxford and Imperial Medical Schools for many years as well as nursing students.
